Summary
The second of two episodes on this tape. One in this satirical soap opera series about Mary Hartman, a housewife from Fernwood, Ohio. In this episode, Mac apologizes to Cathy for finding Martha more attractive than she (Cathy) is, and she forgives him even though she's baffled over the poor treatment she has received from men over the years. Martha and George agree to meet Dennis's parents, but the Shumways have a huge fight during the get-together and the Capri Lounge is left in shambles. Tom tells Charlie that he's willing to stop trying to win Mary back if that will make her happy. However, he draws the line at socializing with the Foleys when Mary invites him to do so. Mac tries to talk to Martha about their future together, but she is not willing to entertain such thoughts because she recalls Standing Cow's prediction that her future with Mac will be jinxed. Commercials deleted.
