CLARISSA EXPLAINS IT ALL: EDITOR-IN-CHIEF (TV)

Summary

One in this series of children's programs about the adventures of Clarissa Darling, a typical adolescent girl. In this episode, one of Clarissa's dreams comes true when she becomes editor of the school newspaper. But she soon learns that being the boss is not always easy. Her father gets carried away with new and impratical design and graphics ideas for the paper, her brother Ferguson wants to write a gushing profile on his favorite filmmaker, her best friend Sam writes a terrible music review, and all the pizzerias in town try to bribe her into promoting their product. Clarissa wants to be fair, but cannot make everyone happy in the process. Ultimately, she manages to make the best use of everyone's talents with the help of diplomacy and clever thinking. This program is closed-captioned. Commercials deleted.
