MR. SHOW WITH BOB AND DAVID: SAD SONGS ARE NATURE'S ONIONS (TV)

Summary

One in this series of sketch comedy programs starring Bob Odenkirk and David Cross. In this episode, David tries to run away from the show to escape the new television rating system; an unusual child beams the pair up to his "space pod" and shrinks them with a magical potion; a political debate turns into a roast for one husky constituent; a man hoping to increase his classical-music collection advertises for people to send him compact discs; Cyrus Tetley of "Inside the Actor" interviews (worships) actor Ryan Dorn, and Tetley and three of his students shrink themselves down and are injected into Dorn's bloodstream, where they find themselves trapped in a parody of the television program "Land of the Lost"; investigative journalist Brink Flanks speaks with Dr. Todd Bruman about the negative effects of walking on the Earth's ecosystem; Three Times One Minus One performs a music video of the group's song, "Good-bye 2 Every 1 Ever"; and Horace Loeb's ballad "Heaven Better Save Some Tears" beats Willips Brighton's "Mouthful of Sores" as Saddest Song at the Teardrop Awards.
