FRIENDS: THE ONE WHERE NANA DIES TWICE (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about six Generation-X friends who live together in New York City and share a favorite haunt, a coffee bar called Central Perk. In this episode, a co-worker of Chandler's sets him up on a date -- with a man. When Chandler tells his friends the story, the girls acknowledge they thought he was gay when they first met him. Meanwhile, Monica and Ross's father calls with bad news about Nana, who is on her deathbed at the hospital. The Gellars reminisce about Nana, but a nurse interrupts them with bad news of her death. During the mourning process, Monica's mother is still critical of everything she does or says. As Monica and Ross say their last goodbyes to Nana, Ross bends over to kiss her forehead and Nana suddenly moves -- but dies again shortly after. And when Ross falls into an open grave at the cemetery, he takes some painkillers, leaving him medicated at the reception. Also, Monica learns why her mother is so critical. Ultimately, the group is browsing through Nana's photographs and they find one of Nana and her friends hanging out in a coffee shop. Commercials deleted.
