HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREET: BABY IT'S YOU {PT. 2 OF 2} {CROSSOVER EPISODE WITH "LAW & ORDER"} (TV)

Summary

Continued from T:55067. One in this dramatic police series about a department of reflective homicide detectives in Baltimore, Maryland. Part two of a two-part crossover story between two NBC police dramas, "Law & Order" and "Homicide: Life on the Street." This two-part story concerns the death of a young model, Brittany Janaway, whose family lives in both New York and Baltimore. Johnnie Ramirez, the latest suspect in the Janaway murder case, proclaims his innocence and implicates Brittany's father as the rapist. But when the detectives try to question Dr. Janaway again, they find that the Janaways have fled New York and returned to Baltimore. Detectives Briscoe and Curtis accompany Detectives Falsone and Munch to continue the investigation in Baltimore. While questioning the staff at the hospital where Dr. Janaway used to work, they learn that Brittany had come to the hospital three years earlier with vaginal bleeding, which Dr. Janaway had kept confidential. News of her previous injury and Ramirez's testimony that Dr. Janaway was with Brittany on the night of the rape indicate that Dr. Janaway is the rapist. But, in court, Brittany's father shocks everyone with an alibi that turns the case upside-down. Only when the Janaways are thoroughly questioned in police custody does the real story emerge. Commercials deleted.

(Part one of this story was telecast on the NBC series, "Law & Order" on November 12, 1997. See T:52067.)
