AMERICA ALERT {ANTI-COMMUNIST PSA FROM FLORIDA
POWER & LIGHT CO.} (TV)
Summary
This tape features three separate public service
announcements featuring anti-communism messages,
sponsored by the Florida Power & Light Company. In the
first public service announcement, a teacher introduces
a visitor from the state board to her class and the
visitor talks about being loyal to the government of the
Soviet States of America. An announcer then describes
how to prevent and detect a communist takeover. In the
next announcement, a worker speaks with his personnel
director about his stellar progress with the company in
the past six years. But the director passes him over
for a promotion because he attends church. An announcer
then talks about how to keep your beliefs in America
strong. In the last announcement, children are loaded
onto a bus for a work camp and an announcer describes
ways to fight communism.
