Summary

One in this daytime series, which each week begins a new five-part serial based on stories from Modern Romances magazine. This program, hosted by Martha Scott, presents the fourth episode of the story about Emily's desire to marry Cliff -- over her father's objections. Emily's father, Paul, tells her that he has planned to take her on a trip to Europe. Emily does not want to go, however, because she loves Cliff and fears losing him while she is away. Cliff then informs Emily that her father has used his influence to sway a California law firm's opinion of him regarding a job. Cliff and Emily finally decide to leave and get married despite Paul's strong objections. Includes commercials.
