ROSEANNE: SATAN, DARLING (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Roseanne and Dan Conner, a working-class couple who live in Lanford, Illinois, and their three kids, D.J., Darlene, and Becky. In this episode, recent lottery winners Roseanne and Jackie attend an uppity society party on New York's Upper West Side where they run into such pretentious folks as Tina Beige, editor of Manhattan Magazine, makeup maven Estree Longet, and an eccentric couple that simply goes by Bobo and Peanut. The women feel totally out of place around the hifalutin people until they run into Edina and Patsy (the characters from British hit sitcom "Absolutely Fabulous"). The four women proceed to throw back martinis, try to figure out whether any of them are drag queens, and discuss plans to clone Jackie O's DNA. Things take a turn for the bizarre when they stumble upon a witches' coven which leads to a spoof of "Rosemary's Baby." Includes commercials. This program is closed-captioned.
