MR. ADAMS AND EVE: HOWARD AND EVE AND IDA (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series in which husband-and-wife film stars Howard Duff and Ida Lupino portray married film stars Howard Adams and Eve Adams, who is known professionally as Eve Drake. In this episode, Howard faces a disastrous situation when he suggests that Ida Lupino direct the couple's next picture. Unbeknownst to Howard, Eve is insanely jealous of Lupino because of problems she's had in the past caused by the similarity in their looks. In addition, Howard dated Ida Lupino at one time. Then, when Lupino decides that it would be a good idea to cut one of Eve's big scenes and concentrate more on Howard's fight scene, Eve is sure the director is attempting to steal her husband. However, just as Eve decides that she should leave Howard, she realizes something remarkable about Ida. Includes commercials and public service announcements.
