NEW YORK UNDERCOVER: DIGITAL UNDERGROUND (TV)
Summary
One in this edgy drama series about undercover police in Harlem's fourth precinct, which also features musical performances by popular jazz, rap, Latin, and R&B artists. In this episode, Lt. Virginia Cooper's thirteen-year-old daughter, Meghan, is befriended by a pedophile via the Internet and is lured to his apartment with the offer of a modeling career. Detectives Eddie Torres, J.C. Williams, and Nina Moreno mobilize to find the missing girl, a search that intensifies when her abductor's previous teen "model" is found brutally murdered. The detectives get a crash-course in the world of online child pornography and are confounded by the difficulty of tracing an electronic predator. Meanwhile, blaming herself, Cooper is devastated that her daughter would need to reach out to a stranger. In other developments, Torres becomes concerned when his father borrows mob money to buy the local nightclub Natalie's; and Williams hints to Chantal that he would like to give their relationship another try. Includes a performance of "The Closer I Get to You" by special musical guests Brandy and Tevin Campbell. Commercials deleted.
