MARTIN: I'VE GOT A SECRET (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Martin Payne, a sexist, wise-cracking radio talk-show host for WZUP in Detroit, Michigan, which is based on a character Martin Lawrence created in his stand-up comedy routine. In this episode, Gina tells Martin a secret, which he promises not to disclose: Pam wears sexy clothes to work when she wants to get her way. The promise does not last long, however, considering that the topic for his next radio show is sexual manipulation in the workplace. Without using names, he accidentally mentions what Gina told him on the air, and his friends can guess who he is talking about. Gina is furious with Martin, and Pam is furious with Gina. Pam demands an apology but Martin refuses; she gets back at Martin, however, by telling a secret about the first time he and Gina made love. The revelation starts a chain reaction among the group, and Tommy and Cole also become involved. Gina wants Martin to reveal an embarrassing secret about himself on the radio in order to gain their friends' trust back. Instead of going to a concert with their friends, Martin goes out with Stan and his girlfriend, Myra, for what turns out to be a nightmarish evening on the town. Martin realizes what he must do and tells a deep secret about himself on the air the next day. Commercials deleted.
