BATMAN: THE PURR-FECT CRIME (TV)

Summary

One in this series of comedy adventure programs about Batman, a crimefighting superhero, and his youthful sidekick Robin. In part one of this two-part episode, the Catwoman steals one of a pair of priceless golden cat statues which hold the key to the lost treasure of Captain Manx. Realizing that she will steal the other statue, Batman and the Boy Wonder coat the remaining golden cat with a radioactive mist that will enable them to track their feline nemesis back to her hideout. The dynamic duo locate the Catwoman's lair, but are shocked to discover that she and her cat henchman, Leo and Felix, are expecting them. The crime-fighters find themselves trapped in a small room, where the Catwoman enjoys a series of cat and mouse games. Eventually, the Catwoman removes Robin from the room and leaves Batman to chose between two doors: one conceals the Catwoman, the other a ferocious tiger. Batman chooses poorly and is left to battle the striped Asian beast. Commercials deleted. (Concludes with T:35982, "Better Luck Next Time.")
