BATMAN: ICE SPY (TV)

Summary

One in this series of comedy adventure programs about Batman, a crime fighting superhero, and his youthful sidekick Robin. In part one of this two-part episode, Mr. Freeze kidnaps a scientist, Professor Isaacson, who has come up with a formula to create instant ice. He takes the professor to his hideout, which is directly below the Bruce Wayne Ice Arena where his assistant, Glacia, will be performing. Then Mr. Freeze sends Commissioner Gordon a list of ransom demands, which include a live telecast by Bruce Wayne at midnight. After deducing the location of Mr. Freezes hideout, Batman decides that the broadcast should be pre-taped an hour earlier so that he and Robin can surprise Mr. Freeze at the time of the broadcast. Though the icy villain is shocked by their appearance, his henchmen get the best of the dynamic duo, who are forced into a sub-zero temperature vaporizing cabinet, which will evaporate their bodies and make them a permanent part of the ice arena above.
