FRASIER: THE MATCHMAKER (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about Frasier Crane, a divorced psychiatrist who lives in Seattle and hosts a phone-in radio show. In this episode, Frasier plays matchmaker when Daphne, a health care worker who lives with Frasier and his father, tells him that she is upset about her non-existent love life. Frasier invites the new station manager, Tom, over to his apartment for dinner hoping that he will hit it off with Daphne. Tom, however, is gay and thinks that Frasier is interested in him. Just before Tom, Daphne, Frasier, and Frasier's father are about to sit down to dinner, Frasier's brother Niles, who is infatuated with Daphne, arrives at the apartment and joins the foursome. Niles spends a good part of the evening competing with Tom for Daphne's affections until he accidentally discovers Tom's true intentions. Commercials deleted.
