Summary
One in this series of dramas that deals with the investigation, arrest, and prosecution of criminals. The first half of each episode concerns the police procedure that leads to the arrest of a suspect, while the second half covers the efforts of the district attorney to prosecute the case. In this episode, detectives Briscoe and Logan investigate the murder of an honors student named Dawn who stole from her family to support her drug habit. At first the detectives and prosecuting attorneys suspect her boyfriend, Skate, a known drug dealer. Even the murder weapon, found at the scene of the crime days after the initial investigation, has his fingerprints on it. Little by little, however, they realize that Skate was framed by Dawn's father who blamed him for Dawn's lifestyle. Assistant district attorney Robinette talks with Dawn's mother and learns the horrifying truth about the case. Commercials deleted.
