HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREET: EXTREME UNCTION (TV)
Summary
One in this series of police dramas about a department of reflective homicide detectives in Baltimore, Maryland. This episode concludes the investigation to apprehend a serial murderer whose victims are left strangled and naked (adorned only with white gloves) in dumpsters behind Catholic churches. As public pressure mounts over the unsolved murders of three women in the preceeding forty-eight hours, the homicide department desperately searches for leads. Pembleton is skeptical, however, when a blonde women named Pamela arrives unexpectedly at the department, providing an unlikely eyewitness account of two men disposing of the latest victim's body. Pembleton dismisses her as a publicity-seeker until she provides a detailed description of the telltale white gloves. Meanwhile, Munch, Lewis and Bayliss move closer to buying a bar, and Beau weighs the importance of his affair with Russert against his family life.
