DIG: A JOURNEY INTO THE EARTH (TV)
Summary
In this musical animated program, a young boy named Adam, and his dog, Bones, meet a talking rock called Rocko, who takes them on a journey inside the earth. Rocko explains many aspects of the earth including faults, fossils, earthquakes, and the formation of various rocks. In addition, Rocko introduces Adam to some of his relatives who sing of the stressful changes rocks go through during their existence. Then, Rocko takes Adam on a tour through different eras of geologic time including the Paleozoic Age, the Mesozoic Age, and the Cenozoic Age. Finally, Adam is returned to his own time with a greater understanding about the evolution of the earth. Commercials deleted.
