Summary
An all-star music and variety special hosted by Raquel Welch. The actress entertains guests including John Wayne, Bob Hope, and Tom Jones, and performs a number of songs from the 1960's in a variety of exotic locations. Highlights include the following: Welch performs "California Dreamin'" while strolling through Paris; "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" near a Mexico City fountain; and selections from the musical "Hair" near ancient Mayan ruins. Also, John Wayne teaches Welch how to be a cowboy; Tom Jones serenades her with with "I (Who Have Nothing)" while she imagines herself a queen; and Bob Hope joins Welch for a comedic rendition of the Beatles' "Rocky Raccoon." Other highlights include a nightclub duet by Welch and Jones in London, and a flashback glimpse of the actress' public life as she sings "Everybody's Talkin'" (the theme song from "Midnight Cowboy"). Commercials deleted.
