Summary

The comedy team of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello star in
this live episode. Highlights include the following:
Abbott attempts to use Costello to get money for
Christmas shopping, but his plan backfires; dancers
Buster Shaver and Olive perform a duet; Tom and Jerry
perform acrobatic bar work with a touch of comedy;
Abbott asks Costello to give him a scalp treatment by
following the directions given on the radio, but
Costello follows the directions for noodle stuffing
instead; Margaret Whiting sings; Abbott and Costello get
jobs as delivery men and while they are working
convince a couple to get a divorce; the Nicholas
Brothers perform a tap routine; and Costello takes over
for Al Goodman, leads the band, sings "White Christmas,"
and causes a fight involving the musicians, who use
their instruments as weapons. Includes commercials.
