Summary

Continued from T:29986. Part two of two. One in this mystery anthology series. Host Diana Rigg introduces this program about a crotchety, middle-aged, ale-drinking British police inspector. In part two, Rosemary Henderson tells Inspector Morse that she had an affair with Gifford, and that she broke it off before his murder. Morse learns that Pierce had been embezzling money from Gifford's firm to help provide Janice with an apartment of her own -- and soon learns that Pierce has killed himself. Before long, Rosemary's husband is found dead after having discovered evidence of his wife's trysts with Gifford, thus complicating matters and adding one more murder to the mix.
