Summary
Part two of two. One in this mystery anthology series. Host Diana Rigg introduces part two of this two-part program, the first in the series to depict Chief Inspector Alleyn of Scotland Yard, an upper-class detective traumatized by his experiences in World War II. In this episode, Alleyn and his team continue to investigate the murder of troublesome but beautiful artists' model Sonia Gluck who had been either blackmailing or sexually involved with every artist at the workshop run by Agatha Troy. Alleyn and his team focus their investigation on Wolf Garcia, Sonia's live-in boyfriend and the last person at the studio before Sonia's body was discovered. When Alleyn and Fox discover their heretofore prime suspect dead, they must figure out who would want to kill both the model and the artist. In the meantime, Lady Alleyn tries to convince Agatha Troy that a murder investigation -- even one in which she is a suspect -- is a perfectly appropriate venue for Troy and her bachelor son to reach a romantic "understanding."
