Summary
Continued from T:29974. Part two of two. One in this mystery anthology series. Host Diana Rigg introduces this program about a crotchety, middle-aged, ale-drinking British police inspector. In part two, Morse and his right-hand man, Detective Sergeant Lewis, continue their investigation into the death of Sir Julius Hanbury and begin an investigation into the murder of the au pair Michelle Reage's boyfriend, Roger Meadows, whose car was sabotaged. A letter found in Meadows's pocket leads Morse and Lewis to assume the two deaths are tied, a belief re-enforced by Reage's disappearance. Discoveries made at the morgue by pathologist Dr. Grayling Russell and on Hanbury's computer by Lewis lead Morse and Lewis to take another look at Hanbury's widow, Lady Prudence Hanbury, and her trusty handyman, John McKendrick.
