ROSEANNE: FIRST COUSIN, TWICE REMOVED (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Roseanne and Dan Conner, a working-class couple who live in Lanford, Illinois, and their three kids, D.J., Darlene, and Becky. In this episode, Roseanne's cousin Ronnie, played by Joan Collins, comes to Lanford to attempt to patch up her relationship with Roseanne after twenty-five years of resentment between the two. Darlene is in awe of Ronnie and is dazzled by her successful, exciting life in New York City. Ronnie is impressed with Darlene's writing capability and offers to finance her if she wants to study in New York. Although it would mean dropping out of high school and leaving Lanford, Darlene is thrilled by the idea, but Roseanne strongly disapproves, and she resents Ronnie for interfering in her daughter's life. Includes commercials. This program is closed-captioned.
