M*A*S*H {MASH}: THAT'S SHOWBIZ {PART 1 OF 2} {TENTH SEASON PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
Part one of two. One in this series of comedy programs about the men and women of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M*A*S*H), stationed behind the lines during the Korean War. In this episode, Marina Ryan, a U.S.O. performer, is brought to the 4077th suffering from appendicitis. Hawkeye saves her life, and in the process also wins her heart. Later, the rest of the U.S.O. troupe stops by to visit Marina and perform for the wounded soldiers and the members of the 4077th. The group's emcee, Fast Freddie, amuses Winchester and Klinger, but irritates Hawkeye and B.J. with his corny jokes. Meanwhile, Margaret Houlihan finds herself in the uncomfortable position of bunking with Brandy Doyle, a member of the troupe who was formerly a stripper. Also, Father Mulcahy attempts to help Sarah Miller, another member of the troupe, who is looking for information about her late brother. As the troupe prepares to leave the 4077th, Klinger receives a call from G-2 informing him that all major roads will be closed in anticipation of a major offensive. The U.S.O. performers find themselves grounded at the M.A.S.H unit. Commercials deleted.
