M*A*S*H {MASH}: BLESS YOU, HAWKEYE (TV)
Summary
One in this series of comedy programs about the men and women of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M*A*S*H), stationed behind the lines during the Korean War. In this episode, psychiatrist Dr. Sidney Freedman examines Hawkeye, whose mysterious sneezing fit cannot be linked to any cold, flu, or allergy. Hawkeye had recently treated a wet and frightened soldier who was injured after falling into a moldy ditch. Although the soldier is recovering, Hawkeye is developing increasingly intense, flu-like symptoms that lead him to believe he is dying. When the illness appears psychosomatic rather than physical, Dr. Freedman searches for the answer in Hawkeye's childhood. Commercials deleted.
Cataloging of this program was made possible by Alan Alda.
