FLIP WILSON SHOW, THE {RUTH BUZZI, ERROLL GARNER, TIM CONWAY} (TV)

Summary

One in this series of comedy/variety programs hosted by Flip Wilson. Highlights of this program include the following: Flip Wilson describes a course that teaches how to pick-up women and Tim Conway demonstrates the various techniques he has learned on a shy woman (played by Ruth Buzzi) sitting on a park bench; the first skit has Conway playing the President of the United States and Wilson as Sonny the Janitor, who offers the president some advice on his upcoming campaign as well as on his image; blues pianist Erroll Garner plays "For Once in My Life"; Wilson then joins Garner to sing "The Erroll Garner Blues"; in the next skit, Danny Danger, the world's greatest detective, takes a case involving a woman who feels she is going to be murdered by her husband; the case gets stranger when the husband claims his wife is trying to murder him; the next skit finds two officers in the New Army, and one of them is planning to leave and just go home, despite the urgings from his friend; and the last skit takes place in a busy office where the very thorough secretary is going on vacation and her replacement turns out to be the sexpot Geraldine Jones, which prompts the secretary to skip the vacation. Commercials deleted.
