Summary
One in this series of dramas that deals with the investigation, arrest, and prosecution of criminals. The first half of each episode concerns the police procedure that leads to the arrest of a suspect, while the second half covers the efforts of the district attorney to prosecute the case. In this episode, detectives Mike Logan and Phil Cerreta investigate a thirty-one-year-old homicide after the remains of a nine-year-old boy, Tommy, are found during the renovation of a brownstone. Information from Tommy's mother and her neighbors during the time of Tommy's disappearance lead the detectives to Tommy's childhood friend, Julie. After talking with Dr. Olivet, a psychiatrist who works for the police department, Julie remembers the events that occurred on the day of Tommy's disappearance and reveals the identity of Tommy's killer. Then, assistant district attorney Ben Stone prosecutes the guilty party. Commercials deleted.
