Summary
One in this dramatic anthology series. This program presents the story of a Greek restaurant owner, Pete Panakos (Savalas), who has lived in America for over thirty years. His American teenage son, Chris (Gordon), is incessantly bored with Pete's constant stories about Greece, but nonetheless, after saving his money for years, Pete fulfills his dream of taking his son to meet their relatives in the Spartan village that Pete calls home. Both men are surprised by their discoveries: the son finds himself drawn to the simple life of his Greek family, and the father discovers a discrepancy between reality and the idealized version of "home" that he cherished for so many years. Includes a promo for "American Playhouse."
