BEYOND UTOPIA: CHANGING ATTITUDES IN AMERICAN ARCHITECTURE (TV)

Summary

This program examines the ideas and theories of six prominent architects and analyzes the changes in the world of American architecture in the 1970s. Critic Martin Filler and historian Rosemarie Bletter discuss the revolution in architecture, in which postmodernism represented a rejection of the dogmas of the International Style.
