ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW, THE: THE CLASS REUNION (TV)

Summary

One in this series about Sheriff Andy Taylor, his family, and the residents of Mayberry, North Carolina. In this episode, Andy and Barney enthusiastically organize a high school reunion after reminiscing over a yearbook found in a storage trunk. The pair are giddily excited to reunite with their respective old flames. Andy particularly yearns to see his old sweetheart Sharon DeSpain, the great lost love of his life who now enjoys a successful arts career in Chicago. The reunion is a mixed success, with the standard awkwardness and forgotten names, and Barney's former paramour fails to remember him at all. Andy and Sharon, however, pick up right where they left off twenty years before -- until once again they are divided by Sharon's love of big city life and Andy's devotion to his beloved small town. Commercials deleted.
