ALL IN THE FAMILY: TOO GOOD EDITH {SERIES FINALE} (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about a working-class household presided over by the opinionated Archie Bunker. In this episode, Edith's doctor tells her to stay off her feet due to a leg condition, but she feels obliged to help Archie prepare for the St. Patrick's Day party at the bar. Pained and exhausted after a full day of cooking, Edith learns that Archie wants her to serve the food at the bar. However, on her way upstairs to get dressed, she finds that she can't walk. Later, in an emotional scene in the Bunker's bedroom, Archie tells Edith what she means to him. Commercials deleted.

(This is the final original episode of this series. The main characters went on to appear in the series "Archie Bunker's Place," from 1979-1983.)
