GREEN ACRES: ALF AND RALPH BREAK UP (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Oliver and Lisa Douglas, a wealthy couple who leave their Park Avenue penthouse in New York City to live on a run-down farm near the small town of Hooterville. In this episode, Lisa and Oliver try to patch things up between brother-and-sister carpenters Alf and Ralph Monroe, whose falling out is delaying the construction of the Douglas's bedroom. Ralph subsequently moves in with the Douglases, much to Oliver's dismay as her snoring exposes "adenoids like a stevedore." Lisa ultimately makes Ralph their maid and cook -- jobs at which she proves surprisingly adept. Soon, Oliver is trying to fan the flames of Ralph and Alf's argument, at least until he can get in a few more home-cooked meals. A variety of Hooterville regulars -- grocer Sam Drucker, handy man Hank Kimball and oily entrepreneur Mr. Haney -- provide observations, as does pig Arnold Ziffel, who runs into Oliver while shopping for his parents at Drucker's store. Commercials deleted.
