BONANZA: PONDEROSA MATADOR (TV)
Summary
One in this long-running western drama series about widower Ben Cartwright, his sons, and their adventures on their ranch in Nevada's Ponderosa. In this episode, the Cartwright brothers busily compete for the attention of the exotic Senorita Dolores Tenino, who pays a visit to the Ponderosa ranch with her father, the bullfighter. Adam appears to have the upper hand at wooing the lady when he displays his superior knowledge of the customs and language of Spain. Not to be outwitted by their brother's suave behavior, Hoss and Little Joe combine efforts to impress the visitor and vanquish their older brother by learning to bullfight. Their scheme results in a buffoonish and chaotic misadventure that sends a fierce bull stampeding through the streets of Virginia City, producing a surprising effect on the lady. Commercials deleted.
