WAGON TRAIN: THE WILLY MORAN STORY {SERIES PREMIERE} (TV)

Summary

The premiere of this series about a wagon train traveling from Missouri to California. In this episode, a drunken gunfighter, Willy Moran, joins the wagon train as a driver for a man named Robinson. Maj. Adams informs Willy that he is not allowed to drink during the journey. Meanwhile, Robinson and a group of outlaws hatch a plan to cripple the train by sabotaging their own wagon. Willy observes their tampering, but before he can tell Adams about it, one of Robinson's men starts a fight with him. Adams breaks up the brawl and knocks Willy out. When Willy awakens he cannot remember what happened to him. Robinson tells Adams that Willy was trying to steal whiskey from his driver. The next day, Robinson's wagon breaks down, stopping the entire wagon train, and Willy regains his memory as the outlaws begin to attack. Adams and Willy fight to save their fellow wagoneers.
