ROCKFORD FILES, THE: RATTLERS' CLASS OF '63 (TV)

Summary

One in this series about the cases of private detective Jim Rockford, an ex-convict who was imprisoned for a crime he did not commit and who gets involved in cases that his self-protective instincts tell him to avoid. In this episode, Jim and Rocky attend the wedding of Angel and a young woman named Regine. The ceremony is interrupted by the arrival of Regine's brother Bobby, who punches out Angel. That night, Angel tells Rocky that his marriage is over. He admits that he and a partner were involved in a bogus landfill deal to extort money from Bobby and his brothers. He married Regine only as protection. Now, his partner is dead and Angel has implicated Jim in the scheme. After escaping from a potentially deadly brouhaha with Bobby's brothers, and a nasty run-in with the police, Jim reluctantly investigates the death of Angel's partner -- mostly to take the heat off himself. As the bodies continue to pile up, Jim discovers a plethora of secrets that lead to a much bigger problem than he anticipated. Includes commercials.
