REAL WORLD, THE: BACK TO NEW YORK: BOBBY GETS PUKED ON (TV)
Summary
The tenth season of this reality-based series about the exploits of seven strangers chosen by MTV to share rent-free lodging in Manhattan and to be followed around by camera crews for several months.
In this episode, Nicole is thrilled when her crush Bobby sends her a gift in the mail, and she encourages him to come for a visit. Elsewhere, Coral is upset to realize that others find her to be "intimidating" and resolves to make a change; Kevin, startled by her "complete turnaround" when she begins treating him in an affectionate, friendly manner, decides to learn more about her complex past. With Bobby's visit confirmed, Nicole resolves to get him drunk and make her move, and she retrieves him from the airport and flirtatiously shoots down his idea of staying at a hotel. Kevin and Coral spend more time together as Coral tries to change her attitude toward him. Nicole, who admits that her "evil plan" to seduce Bobby is hindered by her very low tolerance for alcohol, is embarrassed when she drinks too much and throws up in front of him.
Back at the house, Coral tends to a drunk Nicole, but despite her ministrations Nicole ends up vomiting again right next to Bobby, ruining her chances for a romantic night. The next day, Coral, Mike, Kevin, and Rachel head to Central Park for a day of fun, and Coral admits that she is unused to "letting loose" and having a relaxed good time. Bobby and Nicole's uncomfortable visit ends with a mere goodbye hug at the airport, and Coral deems his behavior "transparent," stating that he gets an ego boost from the insecure Nicole's aggressive pursuit of him. Later, Coral and Lori are amused to read back over Nicole's incoherent drunk text messages. Commercials deleted.
