SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS: HOUSE PARTY: PARTY POOPER PANTS (TV)

Summary

One in this animated series about a sponge named SpongeBob SquarePants and his life in Bikini Bottom, a town under the sea. In this episode, Patchy the Pirate hosts a party and introduces his guests, including Minnie the Mermaid, Longbeard the Pirate, and King Neptune. Patchy then recalls a party which Spongebob hosted, after which he showcases that tale, "Party Pooper Pants." As the story begins, Spongebob gets a Plan-Your-Own-Party kit and promptly designs a bash to which he invites 177 guests. Patrick is the first to arrive, followed by Mr. Krabs, and Squidward. Throughout the evening, Spongebob insists that his guests slavishly stick to the activities schedule he's written up. When that doesn't prove to be the case, Spongebob lectures his guests anew, ruining everyone's fun in the process. When Spongebob gets locked out of his home, he's taken aback when the party proceeds nicely without him. The host's luck worsens when he's arrested for trying to break into his house. The next morning, he returns home and Patrick says that all the guests thought it was "the best party ever," making Spongepants think that he's a great host after all. Back at Patchy's bash, he deems that the music of his band -- The Bird Brains -- is too loud, and organizes his own brand of entertainment, much to his guests' horror. Finally, the guests engineer a comeback for The Bird Brains. Commercials deleted.
