WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? {HALLOWEEN EPISODE} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of improvisational comedy programs, "where everything's made up and the points don't matter," inspired by the British series of the same name. Host Drew Carey presides over a cast of comedians Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops and Wayne Brady.
In this special Halloween-themed episode, sketches include the following: "Make a Monster," in which mad doctor Mochrie and assistant Proops create a John Wayne-inspired monster (Stiles) and a Sammy Davis Jr.-esque bride (Brady); "Scenes From a Hat," including "Things You Don't Want to Hear in the Dark" and "What Slash Villains Are Thinking As They Wait to Jump Out"; "Weird Newscasters," featuring Proops as a politician trying to smear his opponent, Carey, and Brady as a daring frat-bro sportscaster; "Hats," featuring offerings from "the world's worst dating service"; and "Helping Hands," in which Mochrie serves as Stiles' hands as he portrays a wicked witch attempting to sell magical goods to Carey. Brady is deemed the "winner," and the program closes as the comedians read the credits in the spirit of young trick-or-treaters. Includes commercials and promos.
