WKRP IN CINCINNATI: HOODLUM ROCK (TV)
Summary
One in this series of comedy programs about the staff of a small radio station in Cincinnati. In this episode, Andy is amazed to learn that one of Mr. Carlson's friends is the concert promoter for the hot new punk band "The Scum of the Earth." Andy feels that getting WKRP involved with the band's first concert in Cincinnati will bring in profits. Mr. Carlson is not pleased with the idea because of the lyrics written by the band members, but since there is money coming in, he cannot argue with success. When "Scum" arrives at the station for an interview, Mr. Carlson is relieved to see three English gentlemen dressed in suits. However, the employees of WKRP soon learn that you cannot judge one's demeanor by the clothes he wears. Meanwhile, Les attempts to find humor in Johnny's invention of the Cincinnati Triangle. Commercials deleted. End credits are missing.
