FRASIER: THREE DAYS OF THE CONDO (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Frasier Crane, a divorced psychiatrist who lives in Seattle and hosts a phone-in radio show.
In this episode, Niles and Frasier return from a day of antiquing and try their best to ignore Martin and Sherry's overly amorous behavior. Frasier then receives a stern warning from "bossy fussbudget" Ms. Langer, the president of the condo board, about his new "unauthorized" door knocker. He tries to defend the knickknack at that evening's board meeting, suggesting that it "elevates the spirits" of anyone who spots it, leading to positive outcomes for others. Langer immediately shoots him down, however, and Frasier swears vengeance on the "tyrant." Later, a mysterious man from the condo's covert "band of resisters" approaches Frasier and begs him to run for president against Langer.
Niles, having offered his "bachelor pad" to his dad, is horrified when he returns home at an inopportune moment of Martin and Sherry's romantic evening. Roz warns Frasier about going after the time-consuming job of president, but Frasier remains determined to stop Langer's reign of terror. He receives a "missive" suggesting that the tenants will vote in his favor; Martin confesses to Daphne that he has further antagonized Langer by taking an "au naturel" dip in the hot tub. Frasier, however, mistakenly believes that Martin has been cited for taking Eddie into the service elevator. At the next board meeting, he shocks everyone with an impassioned speech defending his father's public behavior with his "little friend." Upon learning of his error, Frasier quickly retracts himself from the race. Commercials deleted.
