SABRINA, THE TEENAGE WITCH: GOOD WILL HAUNTING (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about a teenage witch named Sabrina who lives with her two aunts, who are also witches, and their talking cat, Salem.

It's Halloween and the Spellman family has been invited to a Halloween party hosted by their Aunt Beulah. Sabrina has never met Beulah, but Hilda and Zelda are aware of her reputation for throwing dull parties. However, they have no excuse not to go and RSVP. However, Valerie invites Harvey and Justin over to Sabrina's house for a Halloween double-date. Sabrina manages to talk Zelda into letting her stay home, but Aunt Beulah sends her a present: a talking "Molly Dolly." As Valerie, Harvey, and Justin arrive, Sabrina notices the doll starting to stalk her. Hilda and Zelda arrive at Beulah's party, unaware that it is apparently taking place in an insane asylum.

As the night wears on and the Molly Dolly continues to stalk Sabrina, she tries to discreetly get rid of it. Meanwhile, Hilda and Zelda meet a number of eccentric party guests, including Beulah herself. Sabrina locks the doll away in a cupboard, but soon finds that the doors to the house are all magically sealed. Hilda and Zelda want to leave the party but discover that they are in an insane asylum and are not permitted to leave. The doll escapes the cupboard and threatens Sabrina. Sabrina's magic proves ineffective against it, and to further complicate matters the doll starts summoning movie monsters to further menace Sabrina and her friends. Hilda and Zelda, rendered unable to use their magic to escape due to Beulah's anti-magic candy corn, remain trapped at the party.

Sabrina tries to warn her friends about the doll, but they believe it is merely an elaborate Halloween prank. The movie monsters chase them around the house while Hilda and Zelda evade their pursuers at the asylum. Despite their efforts, Hilda and Zelda are captured and their brains are switched with chickens. Sabrina wrestles with the doll and subdues it, deciding to travel to the party to fetch her aunts in order to deal with the movie monsters. However, the doll escapes and continues to torment Sabrina's friends. Sabrina finds her aunts in their newfound chicken bodies. Beulah reveals that they are not actually in an insane asylum; the setting is merely a part of one of her annual theme parties. They travel back to the Spellman house and Beulah gets the doll to stand down. Sabrina plays the whole thing off as a prank and her friends flee, frightened. The episode ends as it appears to start all over again, apparently as part of one of Salem's recurring dreams. Includes commercials.
