Summary

One in this series of comedy programs. This installment is the second of two programs created specially for German television and featuring the Monty Python comedy troupe. For the first program, see B:14648; the episode is in German without English subtitles.

This episode includes the following sketches: an archery competition gone somewhat awry; "Euro Sex Maniacs," where investigators attempt to understand businessmen's "apparently irrational" desire for women; a sycophant panel discussion; preservationist Frank Tutankhamun 4,000-acre "mouse reserve," which leads to a tragic stampede; chicken miners in North Dakota, including some convincing "forgeries"; the efforts of "fleabuster" Heinrich Bonner; a philosophers' football match, in which the German team (including Kant, Hegel and Nietzsche) square off against the Greeks (Plato, Socrates, Archimedes); Colin "Bomber" Harris' impressive wrestling match against himself; "10 Seconds of Sex"; a hapless man's disastrous trip to a hearing aid/contact lens shop, featuring two bumbling salesmen; and the adventures of the royal family of Happy Valley, where all subjects are forced on pain of death to stay joyful: wooden-toothed Princess Mitzi Gaynor attempts to find a husband and eventually lands on unattractive Prince Walter, but her heart is then stolen by dragon-slaying Prince Charming. An embittered Walter crashes the wedding, accompanied by a witch who turns everyone in the kingdom into chickens – much to the delight of the miner.
