HALL AND OATES: THE LIBERTY CONCERT (TV)

Summary

This televised concert, held on the Fourth of July at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ as a benefit to fund the project to restore the Statue of Liberty, features the music of Daryl Hall and John Oates, known together as Hall & Oates. The band members arrive in a helicopter and take the stage, where they perform "Dance on Your Knees," "Out of Touch," "Family Man," "Rich Girl," "Say It Isn't So," "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'," originally by the Righteous Brothers, "Method of Modern Love," "Maneater," "Adult Education," and "You Make My Dreams." They close the evening with "Hot Fun in the Summertime," originally by Sly & the Family Stone.
