DANNON YOGURT: OLD PEOPLE REVISED {ART DIRECTORS CLUB, 1977: 56TH ANNUAL EXHIBITION, REEL 1}

Summary

In this commercial for Dannon Yogurt, several villagers from Soviet Georgia are shown enjoying the product. The announcer explains that in that part of the Soviet Union, yogurt is a popular food and large numbers of people live past the age of one hundred. While not drawing a direct connection between yogurt and longevity, he goes on to say that Dannon is a wholesome food that's packed with many importnat nutrients. "By the way, 89 year old Bagrat Topagua liked Dannon so much, he ate two cups," he says. "And that pleased his mother very much."
