EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND: HALLOWEEN CANDY (TV)
Summary

In this episode, Ray's hopes for a romantic evening with Debra are dashed when she finds that she has run out of her "stuff," though he balks at her suggestion of "a little snip-snip." He reconsiders when she suggests that such a precaution would lead to a more active love life. He soon tells his friends of his plans to undergo the procedure. Nearly everyone offers words of support, but Robert tells him of a cop friend whose "head was messed up" by the apparently emasculating operation. Ray quickly changes his mind. He arrives home and tells Debra that he instead bought "things," choosing a festive variety because of Halloween. He attempts to rush the kids through their trick-or-treating in order to expedite his private time with Debra.
Frank, dressed as the famous bolt-necked monster, has been left at home to wrangle trick-or-treaters, but soon runs out of candy. When Ray and Debra return home, they are shocked to learn that he has given out the colorful "chocolate coins" left in the cupboard. Debra is forced to make hasty phone calls to the neighborhood parents, swearing that it was a mistake and not a "political statement." Ray rushes around recovering the missing items in exchange for candy. Debra worries that the neighbors now have an inaccurate impression of their hedonistic lifestyle. Ray is only too happy to prove them right – until he realizes that he has accidentally procured actual chocolate coins. Debra eventually falls asleep, leaving Ray alone with "SportsCenter." Commercials deleted.
