Highlights include: an opening monologue satirizing NBC’s censorship policies; a sketch in a restaurant featuring Pryor and another woman nonverbally communicating by eating their food in suggestive ways; a standup routine by Pryor; a sketch featuring Pryor as a caveman discovering fire, only to be burned at the stake; a sketch involving various characters trapped in what appears to be a mental ward; a parody of silent films featuring Pryor as an inept repairman; a Western sketch featuring Pryor and Jeff Corey; a sketch making fun of rock musicians which is interrupted for a dramatic monologue about the struggles of a closeted lesbian portrayed by Sandra Bernhard; a sketch featuring Pryor putting on a mock “circus” for children in the ghetto; and a series of improvisational bits with Pryor and several of the show’s performers. Commercials deleted.
