DON'T TRUST THE B---- IN APARTMENT 23: IT'S JUST SEX . . . (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about Indiana native June Colburn and her adventures with her outrageous roommate Chloe in New York City. In this episode, Chloe departs for Paris as June does some "spring cleaning" around the apartment and donates a quantity of her roommate's junk to a local church. Pleased with her accomplishments, June attempts to enjoy some "private time" in the bath, but is caught in the act by Chloe, who missed her flight and is overjoyed to see June enjoying herself. Embarrassed, June admits that she was thinking of a handsome customer, "Soy Latte Guy," and Chloe urges her to have a casual, no-strings-attached dalliance with him. James introduces June to Valentina, his ruthless new "Dancing With the Stars" partner, and June's awkward pickup line somehow works on the dimwitted Charles, a.k.a. Soy Latte Guy. Aware that June has only ever been with her ex-fiancé, Chloe offers to show June her sex tape with James for "tips," but they are shocked to realize that June accidentally donated the tape to the pastor, who sold it for cash.

James is outraged at first, but Connie assures him that a public "love tape" will only help his chances on "Dancing." Chloe shows the tape to Robin and June, instructing June to "act disinterested" during her evening with Charles, and June, after meeting Charles' beloved parrot Judy, follows Chloe's instructions and sneaks out of his home after a "casual" encounter. Chloe is thrilled by her accomplishment, but Charles then contacts June and tearfully explains that Judy has flown away, and June is unable to resist forming a speedy emotional bond with him. Chloe, furious that her "protégé" has violated the rules of casual sex, orders June to break up with him, while elsewhere James decides that the tape requires reshoots to promote a maximally "sexy-beast" image of himself. Chloe's meddling drives the saddened Charles to hit "rock bottomer," and she is frustrated when June is upset at the thought of hurting his feelings. When Chloe and James attempt to recreate the drunken video, however, they realize that they now genuinely care for one another and cannot have meaningless sex, as James agrees to release the video "as-is." Now feeling guilty for interfering, Chloe remedies the situation by locating Judy, and a delighted Charles agrees to return to a simple customer-and-barista relationship with June. Later, James is frustrated when Prince Harry "upstages" him with a tape of his own. Includes commercials and promos.
