In this special edition, broadcast from the Newman Center for the Performing Arts in Denver, Colorado, moderator Gwen Ifill speaks with a panel of journalists about the upcoming Democratic National Convention. The panel includes: Dan Balz of The Washington Post; James Barnes of National Journal; Jackie Calmes of The New York Times; and Karen Tumulty of Time magazine.

During this discussion, the following topics are covered: speculation on who will be the vice presidential choice for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama; how "the Obama machine" has created hype about the yet-to-be-announced choice; the possible vice-presidential selection for Republican presidential nominee John McCain; how Obama and McCain are handling "the housing crisis" via campaign commercials; what might be different about this year's Democratic National Convention; if Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton will appear to be "on board" Obama's platform at the convention; the effect of Democratic women voters on Obama's success; expectations for Michelle Obama's address at the convention; and if the convention is simply "a four-night infomercial."
