GREEK: MOVE ON. CARTWRIGHTS (TV)
Summary
One in this drama series about a brother and sister whose lives become complicated after joining Greek-lettered "clubs" at prestigious Cyprus-Rhodes University. In this episode, Dale arranges for smitten Rusty and fellow frosh Emma to meet that evening. When Emma later insists on a double-date, Dale pairs up with Emma's "intimidating" roommate Tina. Meanwhile, Casey shoots down a proposal for a mixer between Zeta Beta Zeta and Omega Chi Delta, much to her sorority sisters' disappointment. Upon hearing that Cappie is ill, Casey tries to guilt Rebecca into helping him. Later, Casey admits to Ash that her anti-Omega Chi feelings emanate from Evan. On the double date, Emma and Rusty hit it off, though Tina takes Rusty to task for pledging Kappa Tau Gamma. Dale then tries to interest Tina in U-SAG (University Students Against Greeks.) Though the date ends badly, Emma agrees to try again with Rusty. The next day, Casey approaches Evan at Omega Chi but gets a chilly reception. At Ash's urging, Calvin tells his fraternity brothers that they should have a mixer with ZBZ, leading to an affirmative vote. Meanwhile, Tina wrests control of U-Sag away from Dale. Elsewhere, Rebecca discovers that she hates following in Casey's footsteps with the flu-ridden Cappie. As Rusty becomes overly solicitous of Emma, she backs away. At the mixer, an awkward meeting between Casey and Evan gets ugly as the evening progresses. When Cappie's illness worsens, Rebecca sends forbidding nurse Helga to his room. As the evening winds down, Tina tells Rusty that Emma is nixing their romance; a hurt Rusty retorts that Tina should stop dominating U-SAG and Dale. Later, Frannie talks to Evan, trying to facilitate his reunion with Casey. The next morning, Casey tells Evan that she's ready to move on and suggests that they become friends. Rusty then tries to reconcile with Emma, who rejects him. At ZBZ, Casey tells a delighted Frannie that she can return to the house. Meanwhile, Rebecca discovers that Cappie has become healthy due to Helga's efforts. Finally, Rusty and Tina have a flirty rapprochement. Commercials deleted.
