Created by the master of the military drama Donald Bellisario and JAG producer Don McGill, NCIS has proven to be one of the most engaging series of the new millennium. Now in its seventh season, this procedural drama about fictional special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service is the most highly rated scripted series on the air. In addition to the quick-paced plots, viewers tune in for what Roger Holland of Popmatters.com calls a “weekly date with some of the most rewarding characters on TV,” lead by the Mark Harmon’s charismatically hardened Leroy Jethro Gibbs. The easy camaraderie and comic interplay among such regulars as the goth Abby, the geeky McGee, and the eccentric Ducky make for consistently enjoyable evenings.

NCIS is produced by Belisarius Productions in association with CBS Television Studios.
